Thanks to the Lo Dough pizza base you can really eat pizza every day, I have never found, not even in America, a product that has so few calories and lends itself to so many uses. All excellent, light and low carb!
Let's start with a very easy recipe, a great classic but which remains one of my favorite ways to use this exceptional pizza base which has only 39 kcal and 2.2g of carbohydrates.
Ultra Light Pizza with Lo Dough
Ingredients for 1 pizza
Mozzarella (or other cheese of your choice)
1 tablespoon of Parmesan
60-70 tomato puree
A pinch of oregano and fresh basil (in season)
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 240°/250°
- Place Lo Dough on the pan and cover it well with the tomato puree (well up to the edges included otherwise it dries out)
- Spread the cheese as evenly as possible and then sprinkle with the oregano and Parmesan
- Cook for 7-10 minutes until the cheese has melted and a nice crust has formed
- Serve immediately
Trick: If you want an even more crunchy base, heat a non-stick pan to high heat underneath and put the base on top when it is hot for 10-20 seconds
Macros
Calculate that the Lo Dough base has only 39 kcal and 2.2g of carbohydrates so the macros will obviously be different depending on the type of cheese you decide to use. I recommend for the tomato use a simple sauce or in any case a sugar-free sauce.
