SweetLife natural sweetener

SweetLife is a natural sweet syrup based on apple and carob extracts, therefore only fruit. It provides fewer calories and has a lower glycemic index than sugar and even honey. It is produced from the fruits of the carob tree (also known as the San Giovanni bread tree hence the symbol on the package) and the "gentle" extraction used allows in fact to keep part of the fibers intact.

This syrup is truly versatile and can replace honey or sugar in practically all preparations, even those that require cooking in the oven. Unlike natural sweeteners which are only partially absorbed such as erythritol or xylitol it certainly has more calories but has the great advantage of being able to be used without contraindications by adults and children and also by those with a sensitive intestine and cannot tolerate polyols .
