Konjac flour is extracted from the edible root of the plant of the same name of Asian origin. It is a very special flour, gluten-free, low in calories and capable of absorbing up to 100 times its weight in water (70 times more than oat bran). An excellent ally for those following a slimming diet, it is in fact widely used in more and more preparations and products which in this way are more satiating.
Konjac flour is ideal for thickening various sauces, puddings, gelatinous preparations, for improving the texture of bread dough, but also for seed flour cakes.
100g of Konjac flour can thicken about 25-30L of liquid.

Instructions
- To thicken sauces and gravies: one teaspoon of flour per 500-700ml of liquid
- In the preparation of puddings: 1 and a half teaspoons of flour for 500 ml of water/milk
- Use 1 teaspoon of Konjac flour in the dough.
It is recommended to mix Konjac flour with a hard ingredient (coarse salt, sweetener, etc.) before adding it to the hot preparation.
When cold, proceed in the same way, but the action time should vary between 20-40 minutes.
