NovoSal Iodate 300g

The NovoSal low-sodium salt in this iodized version is truly a super salt that not only those suffering from hypertension should consider replacing "normal" salt. There is less talk of the effects of excess salt in the diet but in reality hypertension is a very widespread problem hence the need for a salt that contains less sodium such as NovoSal. But you don't need to be hypertensive to make a better (and lesser) use of added salt since salt is already present in many foods that we eat every day. This version of NovoSal with added iodine combines the benefits of low sodium salt with those of iodine supplementation.

In fact, iodine is not synthesized by the human body and can only be taken with the diet, its deficiency can lead to many problems. Iodine is naturally present in sea fish and crustaceans but also, in smaller quantities, in eggs, milk and meat but also in algae.

An adequate intake of iodine is important for thyroid health and therefore for all the fundamental mechanisms to which thyroid hormones are connected: metabolism, regulation of the nervous system and body temperature.
