Protein and vegan gnocchi Lo Gnocco. These gnocchi are the only vegan ones in the Lo Gnocco Proteic line, therefore perfect for those who prefer vegetable protein sources (in this case wheat proteins) to animal ones and can find in these gnocchi an excellent alternative to pasta and first courses in general . These gnocchi provide 18g of protein per 100g and are quick and easy to prepare (take a look at the "Advice" tab to find out how to cook them in different ways).

Lo Gnocco is a brand that was born in 2014 but the history of this family of gnocchi specialists dates back much earlier. Li Vecchi Santo began churning out delicacies way back in 1958 and since then not only have they never stopped but they have been capable of continuous innovation so much so that they are the first in Italy to have thought of alternative and truly interesting versions of the classic gnocchi (protein, vegan and keto friendly for example).

Ingredients

Potato flakes (water, dehydrated potato flakes), soft WHEAT flour 00.43% WHEAT protein, potato starch, potato fiber, salt, flavouring, acidity regulator: E 330, preservative: E 200.

Advice

As a first course

IN THE POT 1/1:30 minutes

Put a saucepan with plenty of salted water on the fire, once it boils, throw in the gnocchi and wait for them to float to the surface. Drain them and season them to taste.

IN THE PAN 2/3 minutes

Prepare a slightly runny gravy and add the gnocchi directly from the package. Cook over high heat for a few minutes, stirring gently until the sauce has thickened sufficiently.

IN THE MICROWAVE 3/5 minutes

Put the gnocchi directly from the package in the microwave in a deep dish. Set the power to 800watt for 1 minute up to a maximum of 3 minutes. Then take them out, add the sauce, mix them well and cook again in the microwave for 1:30.

As snacks

AIR FRYER 12 minutes Put the dumplings straight from the package into the air fryer. Set the power to 180watts for 12 minutes. Serve them with a pinch of salt or sauces.

IN THE OVEN 15/20 minutes Set the oven to 200°. Bake the gnocchi and wait until desired browning.

FRIED IN THE PAN 10 minutes Take a pan with high edges and pour plenty of oil. Heat the oil on a moderate flame. Then pour the gnocchi into the oil directly from the package, always keeping the flame moderate (be careful not to overheat the oil too much). Leave to fry until desired browning.
